AXIS-SA50 is a compensation unit designed to compensate for positional deviations in assembly and joining processes. It is used wherever components must be joined precisely despite manufacturing tolerances, such as during contacting or press-fit operations.

The integrated spring-loaded centering mechanism automatically aligns the components without introducing stress. This reliably compensates for misalignment and helps prevent mechanical binding, including during repeated automated cycles.

The module compensates for a radial offset of ±1 mm in the XY plane and a rotational angle of ±3°. At the same time, it reliably transfers high forces along the Z axis under both tensile and compressive loads. It is ideal for gripper assemblies, joining units, and applications with limited installation space.

Its compliant design reduces mechanical load peaks and helps protect adjacent assemblies, such as robot flanges and adapter elements, from premature wear. AXIS-SA50 improves alignment during joining, minimizes assembly stress, and increases long-term process reliability.
